Driven by poverty, father and mother of brothers Vinay and Vijay ended their lives. The kids were thrown onto the road. That's when they were brought to Joy Land and in IV and III grades respectively. They grew up in Joy Land and now Vinay is an Engineer and a certified personal trainer and Vijay is a commerce graduate and entrepreneur.

Emmanuel's parents are serving the Lord at Jadcherla. They have come through many struggles in life, and ultimately when they could not afford to educate him, he was brought here to Joy Land. He studied from grade IV onwards and has earned a good education. He's now an electronic engineer and works in Portugal.

Chaitanya's step mother was mistreating her very badly. As a result, she landed in Joy Land in II class. She also lost her father in an accident. She had no one to care for her. She is now married and is a homemaker.

Salomie's father was murdered by his business competitors. Soon after, her mother was affected with cancer. The children became destitute. They were new converts to the Christian faith, every one turned them down, Salomie and her brother joined Joy Land in the lower grades are both now in college pursuing a higher education.
